Heather Reichstadt started consultation work in the DFW Metroplex in 2007 and has grown her business significantly since the inception of THE TEXTILE DOCTOR. Starting with museum commissions at such institutions as Dallas’ own DMA, textile conservation services were soon made available to individuals and private collectors for decorative arts and home furnishings.

Having both studied and worked in major international hubs of art and culture, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience into each project. Every project is unique. That is why the THE TEXTILE DOCTOR treats and diagnoses on a case by case basis. Let us know what projects we can assist you with!
